Christopher Marts
Christopher Marts, Esq. received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland in 1985 and his Juris Doctorate from University of Baltimore School of Law in 1992. While in law school Mr. Marts achieved many accolades, including, but not limited to National Environmental Moot Court Team and Law Forum. He served with distinction as a Judicial Intern for the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. He handles various personal injury matters, including automobile accidents, slip and falls, and Workers'Compensation claims. He is also known as an aggressive, tenacious criminal defense attorney handling felonies, misdemeanors, DWI/DUI, and traffic cases. He also handles juvenile law, consumer law, lemon law, employment discrimination and landlord/tenant matters, among others. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Harford County Bar Association, the Maryland Association for Justice, the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association and the National College for DUI Defense. He has also completed the NHTSA DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing course which is the same course taught to police officers. Mr. Marts is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland and The United States District Court for the District of Maryland. He has argued appellate cases in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and the Court of Appeals.
